Administrators should pre-create redirected folders before setting the "Grant Exclusive Rights" Folder Redirection policy (911090)

IntroductionConsider the following scenario. As an administrator, you apply the Folder Redirection Group Policy object (GPO) to redirect the My Documents folder of a user to a network share. You apply the GPO on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4), a later version of Windows 2000, or Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
In this scenario, if you do not change the Grant the user exclusive rights to folder default policy setting, only the user who owns the folder can access this folder and view the contents.
Note The folder placeholder represents the folder that you want to redirect.
