You cannot use a Bluetooth device that has an alphanumeric PIN code together with a Windows Mobile-based device (911086)

SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You have a Bluetooth device that has a preset PIN code. The PIN code includes alphanumeric characters. In this scenario, you cannot use the Bluetooth device together with a Microsoft Windows Mobile-based
device.CAUSEThis problem occurs because Windows Mobile for Smartphone
and PocketPC devices only allows for the PIN code to contain numeric characters.
However, Bluetooth allows for PIN codes to contain alphanumeric
characters.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, change the PIN code on the
Bluetooth device to include only numeric characters.
Note You cannot use devices that have preset PIN codes that contain
alphanumeric characters together with Windows Mobile devices.STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
in the "Applies to" section.
