You cannot publish a Web site in FrontPage 2003 after you install Norton Internet Security (910877)

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You install Norton Internet Security. Then, you try to publish a Web site in Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003. In this scenario, you may receive the following error message:
Web server may not have server extensions installed. Web server may be temporarily out of service. If you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be incorrect or an error may have incurred in the web server.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Add FrontPage 2003 to the list of programs in Norton Internet Security. When you do this, the firewall will not block FrontPage 2003 from running on the computer.
