When you use Visio 2002 to open an organization chart that you created in Visio 2003 and saved as a Visio 2002 drawing or template, the chart does not function like an organization chart (910820)

WORKAROUND

1. In Visio 2003, export the organization chart data to a Microsoft Excel worksheet. To do this, follow these steps:
   1. Start Visio 2003, and then open the organization chart.
   2. On the Organization Chart menu, click Export Organization Data.
   3. Type a name for the export file, and then click Save.
   4. When you receive the following message, click OK:

      Organization data exported successfully.

   5. Quit Visio 2003.
2. Import the organization chart data into Visio 2002. To do this, follow these steps:
   1. Start Visio 2002.
   2. On the File menu, point to New, point to Organization Chart, and then click Organization Chart Wizard.
   3. Click Information that's already stored in a file or database, and then click Next.
   4. Click A text, Org Plus (*.txt), or Microsoft Excel file, and then click Next.
   5. Click Browse.
   6. Locate and then click the organization chart data that you exported in step 1.
   7. Click Open.
   8. Click Next three times.
   9. Click I want the wizard to automatically break my organization chart across pages, and then click Finish.
