SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft COM+ 1.0, an exception error may cause the PingThread method to stop prematurely. When the PingThread method stops prematurely, the COM+ application may stop responding (hang).
An Error event that is similar to the following is logged in the event log:Event Type: Error
