An assignment that was created in Class Server 4.0 Teacher is not available for one hour after the start time of the assignment (910384)

SYMPTOMSWhen a student tries to access an assignment that was created in Microsoft Class Server 4.0 Teacher, one of the following symptoms may occur: - Students who access assignments through a Class Server 4.0 Web site see the assignment. However, the students receive an error message that the assignment is not yet available. This symptom occurs for one hour after the start time of the assignment.
- Students who access assignments through a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services Web site do not see the assignment until one hour after the start time of the assignment.
CAUSEThis problem occurs when the following conditions are true: - Assignments are created by using Class Server 4.0 Teacher.
- The regional options on the computer are set to a country in the Southern hemisphere that is observing daylight saving time.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, Microsoft has released an update to Class Server 4.0 Teacher. Note This update must only be applied to a computer that is running Class Server 4.0 Teacher. Do not apply this update to a computer that is running Class Server 4.0 Server or to a computer that is running both Class Server 4.0 Server and Class Server 4.0 Teacher.
