SYMPTOMS

When you log off from a Terminal Services session on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based Terminal Server, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Stop 0x000000AB SESSION_HAS_VALID_POOL_ON_EXIT
Note Windows Server 2003 SP1 is included in x64-based versions of Windows Server 2003.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

This error message indicates that a session unload occurred when a session driver still held memory.

The four parameters in the error message correspond to the following descriptions.
