SYMPTOMSWhen you try to create a time entry for Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006 from an appointment in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager, you may receive the following message:Duration exceeds the maximum 24 hours for a time entry. Do you want to continue using 24 hours as the duration?CAUSEThis issue may occur when the difference between the start time and the end time of the appointment is more than 24 hours. Office Small Business Accounting 2006 allows for only 24 hours per day for each employee.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, click No when you receive the message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section. Then, change the Start time field and the End time field in the appointment so that the duration of the appointment is 24 hours or less.
To continue to create a time entry, click Yes. The duration of the time entry that is created in Microsoft Office Small Business Accounting 2006 will be 24 hours.
