You experience a kernel panic when you start Virtual PC for Mac Version 7.0.2 (910198)

SYMPTOMS

When you start Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac Version 7.0.2, you experience a kernel panic.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you have one of the following versions of Mac OS X installed on the computer:
  • Mac OS X 10.4.0
  • Mac OS X 10.4.1
  • Mac OS X 10.4.2

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install Mac OS X Update 10.4.3. Mac OS X Update 10.4.3 is available as a free download from Apple. To install the most recent update for Mac OS X, click Software Update on the Apple menu in Mac OS X.
