SYMPTOMS

When you try to send an e-mail message in Microsoft CRM 1.2, you may receive one of the following error messages:
  • Error message 1
    Divided By Zero.
    This problem occurs when you do either of the following:
    • You send an e-mail message when a new account is created.
    • You select all active accounts and then send a direct e-mail message.
  • Error message 2
    An error has occurred. For more information, contact your system administrator.
    This problem occurs when you do either of the following:
    • You send a new e-mail message in the Web browser.
    • You send a new e-mail message in the Microsoft Outlook client.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
