Project Web Access cannot synchronize a user when you add a new resource from Active Directory in Project Professional 2003 (909913)

SYMPTOMSYou add a new resource from Active Directory by using the Insert New resource from Active Directory menu in Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003. When you do this, Microsoft Project Web Access (PWA) cannot synchronize a user.CAUSEThis problem may occur if a user's relative distinguished name (also known as RDN) differs from the user's display name.RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Office 2003 service pack that contains this hotfix. To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the hotfix.
