SYMPTOMS

When you try to run a report in Microsoft CRM 1.2, the report does not run. Additionally, you receive a Microsoft SQL Server query error message.

This problem may occur when you try to run one or more of the following reports:
  • Activity List By Account
  • Case List by Contact
  • Opportunity by Contact
  • Opportunity Contact List

CAUSE

This problem may occur when the report alias contains an underscore character (_).

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
