[X- Cancel]CAUSEYou may receive this message if the network that you use to connect the Xbox 360 console to a Windows XP Media Center-based computer is an 802.11b or an 802.11g wireless network.THINGS TO TRY- This message does not require a resolution. This message is a notification, not an error message. For details about this message, see the "More Information" section.
MORE INFORMATIONWhen you use an 802.11b/g wireless connection, other devices on the 2.4 gigahertz (GHz) frequency can impede performance for audio or video playback from a Windows XP Media Center-based computer. Devices that use the 2.4 GHz frequency include cordless phones, microwaves, and other consumer devices.
802.11a uses the 5 GHz frequency. However, you can connect at up to 54 megabits per second (Mbps) bandwidth. The 5 GHz frequency typically has less interference because of the smaller number of products that use the frequency.
If you notice performance issues on an 802.11b/g wireless network, use an 802.11a wireless network. Or, use a wired connection that enables a 100 Mbps or higher bandwidth connection.
