Xbox 360: You receive the "Can't Contact PC" error message (909168)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to connect an Xbox 360 console to a Microsoft Windows XP Media Center-based computer, you receive the following error message: Can't Contact PC
Your console can't contact your PC with Windows Media Center. Make sure your PC is on and connected to the network.

[Network Settings]
[Y- Set up a new connection]
[B- Back]
[A- Select]
[X- Cancel]
CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Xbox 360 console cannot connect to the Windows XP Media Center-based computer on the network.THINGS TO TRY- Verify that you connected the Windows XP Media Center-based computer and the Xbox 360 console to the same network.
- Make sure that you turn on the computer and the console.
- The correct firewall ports may not be open on the Media Center-based computer.
