SYMPTOMS

You cannot find previously scheduled recordings in the Microsoft Program Guide list for the LG LRM-519 DVR/DVD Recorder.

CAUSE

If you run the Program Guide Setup program on the recorder more than one time, previously scheduled recording times may be cleared from the recorder. Every time that you set up the Program Guide, any previously scheduled recordings are deleted.

To re-establish previously scheduled recording times, or to schedule new recordings, follow these steps:
  1. Start the recorder, select Settings, select Recorded TV, and then select Add Recording.
  2. Select one of the following recording options, and then schedule a recording:
    • To search for a program by name, select Record from Search.
    • To select a program from the Program Guide, select Record from Guide.
    • To select a program by the specific channel or viewing time, select Record by Channel and Time.

      Note If you do not have an active subscription to the Microsoft Program Guide, you must use the Record by Channel and Time option to set up a recording.

  3. Verify that the recording is saved.
    1. Select Recorded TV, and then select Scheduled.
    2. Verify that your scheduled recording is saved and correctly listed.
