FIX: You may experience a decrease in the performance of Message Queuing 3.0 when you send messages between two computers that are running Message Queuing 3.0 (908926)

SYMPTOMSWhen you send messages between two computers that are running Microsoft Message Queuing 3.0, you may experience a decrease in the performance of Message Queuing 3.0. Messages accumulate in the outgoing queue of the sending computer until the session is renewed. The session usually requires up to 60 seconds to renew.
Note The re-establish connection time-out value was changed in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) from 5 to 60 seconds.CAUSEThis problem occurs because the established session is lost between the two computers that are running Message Queuing 3.0. A race condition causes Message Queuing 3.0 to close the connection.RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Windows Server 2003 service pack that contains this hotfix. To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the hotfix.
