SYMPTOMSYou cannot change channels on the LG LRM-519 DVR/DVD Recorder by either using the arrow keys or the keypad on the remote control.CAUSEThe Parental Controls feature of the Microsoft Program Guide may have been used to restrict channel access.RESOLUTIONTo restore the function of the remote control's arrow keys and keypad so that you can access any channel, follow these steps: - Start the recorder, press the Menu button on the remote control, and then select Settings.
- Select Parental Controls.
- Enter and confirm your personal identification number (PIN).
- Select Set Parental Control Policy.
- Select the Lock By Ratings tab.
- Select the locked rating that you want to unlock. This step will clear any previous settings for this rating.
Note When you select a locked rating, the icon next to the rating changes from a locked icon to an unlocked icon.
