SYMPTOMS

When you export a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services report to Portable Document Format (PDF) format or to Microsoft Excel, the report does not work as expected. You may experience one or both of the following problems:
  • When you export a report to PDF format, a hyperlink may go to the wrong location. This problem occurs when hyperlinks appear in a vertical list in the PDF document. For example, a hyperlink may go to the location that is specified in the previous hyperlink in the list.
  • When you export a report that uses a table control for output, the report may not be displayed correctly in Excel. For example, if you export a report that contains a section that has two rows at the same level, you cannot expand the section in Excel.
