You cannot find photos, music, or folders when you search your storage device by using the LG LRM-519 DVR/DVD Recorder (908548)

SYMPTOMS

  • You cannot locate a particular photo when you browse from the LG LRM-519 DVR/DVD Recorder even though the photo appears in the storage device on the computer.
  • You cannot locate a particular music file when you browse from the LG LRM-519 DVR/DVD Recorder even though the music file appears in the storage device on the computer.
  • You cannot locate a particular folder when you browse from the LG LRM-519 DVR/DVD Recorder even though the folder appears in the storage device on the computer.

CAUSE

The recorder only recognizes the first 1000 elements when it browses through a storage device. An element is considered any Photo File, Music File, or Folder that exists in the same Folder on the storage device.

RESOLUTION

  1. Decreasing the number of elements in the folder on the storage device to less than 1000.
