INTRODUCTIONIn a Groove Virtual Office co-edit session, the availability of the Highlight tool to non-editors varies depending on the version of Microsoft Word that is used.MORE INFORMATIONDepending on the version of Word that you are using, you may be able to select the Highlight tool from the Reviewing toolbar and then highlight text without being an editor in the co-edit session. When you highlight text as a non-editor, the highlighting is not saved. This kind of highlighting may make it easier to discuss the document.
However, if you highlight text as a non-editor, click Edit, and then make any additional change as an editor, the highlighting that you did before you became an editor is saved with the changes that you make while you are in Edit mode.
