As a parent, guardian, or adult, you can restrict your underage child from playing original Xbox games without your consent. To restrict ability to play original Xbox games, follow these steps:
  1. Press the Xbox Guide button.
  2. In the System section, select Family Settings.
  3. Select Console Controls.
  4. Select Original Xbox Games.
  5. The default setting is Allowed. To restrict this activity, select Blocked.
  6. Select Done to leave Console Controls.
Note A parent, guardian, or adult can temporarily override Family Settings on the console to allow playing of restricted content.
