SYMPTOMS When you use a PCL5c minidriver on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows XP, unexpected lines may appear on a printed page. The problem occurs if the print job contains objects that have gradation. The problem is most likely to occur when you print a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that includes these objects.CAUSE
This problem occurs because the PCL5c minidriver generates the rendering command by using the rendering plug-in module instead of by using the Uni driver.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
