When you are signed in to Xbox Live, you can update your "Presence" or "Online Status" information.

When you are signed in to an Xbox Live enabled profile for which you want your online status updated, follow these steps:
  1. Press the Xbox Guide button to display the Xbox Guide.
  2. Select Personal Settings.
  3. Select Online Status.
  4. To set how you appear to other players when you are online, select one of the following options:
    • Online
    • Away
    • Busy
    • Appear Offline
