Xbox 360: The Xbox 360 console does not detect a storage device (907619)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to save a game, copy music from a CD, or perform other storage related activities, you receive the following error message: No storage device found Note You must have an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or a memory unit attached to the console to try the steps that are listed in the "Things to Try" section. CAUSEThis issue occurs if the Xbox 360 console does not detect the presence of an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or a memory unit.THINGS TO TRY- Turn the console off, and then restart the console.
- Detach and then reattach the hard drive or remove and then insert the memory unit again.
- If you are using a memory unit, insert the memory unit in a different slot.
- If you can, try a different hard drive or a different memory unit in the console to determine whether the storage device is causing the error message.
- If the error persists, contact Xbox Customer Support to arrange to have the console repaired.
