MORE INFORMATION

When a Lotus Notes user removes an Exchange user from a meeting and then sends an update, the Exchange user should receive a meeting cancellation note. The Exchange user can then remove the meeting from his or her calendar by clicking Remove from calendar in the note. Without the meeting cancellation note, the Exchange user must remove the meeting manually.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. A Lotus Notes user sends a meeting request to two Exchange users.
  2. The Exchange users accept the meeting.
  3. The Lotus Notes user opens the meeting request responses from the Exchange users.
  4. The Lotus Notes user clicks Remove Invitees to remove one Exchange user and then sends the update.
The Exchange user who was removed receives a regular e-mail message. The message does not indicate that the meeting is canceled.
