FIX: An "Index was outside the bounds of the array" error message is logged and existing messages do not correctly correlate after you install BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1 (903874)

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You have orchestrations that contain long-running transactions, and the transactions are correlated. Then, you install Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1 (SP1). After you install the service pack, existing messages do not correctly correlate, and an error message that is similar to the following is logged in the Application log: Event Type: Error

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
