To apply this hotfix, you must have SMS 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed on the computer.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.

File information
The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the
Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.

Hotfix installation information
To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix to the operating system image. To do this, follow these steps:
- Run the OSDeploymentFeaturePack-KB903668-X86-ENU.exe executable in order to extract the Sms2003osd-903668-x86.msp file.
- Run the extracted Sms2003osd-903668-x86.msp file on the SMS 2003 site server.
- Re-create the operating system image capture CD file. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the SMS Administrator console.
- Right-click Image Packages, point to All Tasks, and then click Create Operating System Image Capture CD.
- Follow the prompts to re-create the operating system image capture CD file.
Note The new operating system image capture CD file will contain the updated OSDWinlogon.dll file that will be copied to the new operating system image. - Create a new operating system image by using the new operating system image capture CD file and by using an operating system installation that is staged for imaging.
- Create a new operating system image package.
