The following issues are fixed in Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager Update SP1.

Cannot import Microsoft Outlook contacts to a Business Contact Manager folder

This update provides an option in the Business Contact Manager import wizard that lets you import Outlook contacts to a Business Contact Manager folder.

Fields on the Financial History tab of an account form do not sort by using the correct semantics

When you sort the fields on the Financial History tab of an account form that is linked to Small Business Accounting, the fields are not sorted by using the correct semantics.

A new set of menu items is added to the Business Contact Manager menu when you click New on the File menu

After you click the arrow on the Inspector button and then click New on the File menu, a new set of menu items is added to the Business Contact Manager menu.

You receive an error message when you confirm a deletion in the Products and Service Items list

Immediately after you update the Products and Service Items list in a Small Business Management account, you press DELETE. When you click Yes to confirm the deletion, you receive the following error message:

Data is not sorted correctly in the Submit Billable Time form

When you try to sort the data in the Submit Billable Time form, the data is not sorted correctly.

A business note is lost when you import contacts

When you import contacts that include a business note in Business Contact Manager, you may receive an error message during the import process. Additionally, the business note is lost.

When some fields in the Business Contact Manager contacts are blank, the contact data is not imported when you try to import the contacts into a Small Business Manager account.

A received e-mail message is not automatically linked to a contacts folder

When you receive an e-mail message in Business Contact Manager, the message is not automatically linked to the correct contacts folder. This issue may occur when one of the following conditions is true:
  • The contacts folder is reenabled by using the Enable Folder Warning dialog box when you restart Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
  • The contacts folder is reenabled by using the Manage Email Auto Linking dialog box.

You cannot type a value in the Adjusted Percentage field in the Product Items list

You cannot type a value in the Adjusted Percentage field in the Product Items list of an Opportunity. This issue may occur if the input locale on the computer was changed.

You receive an error message if you press F4 when you import a large contact list in Business Contact Manager

If you press F4 when you import a large contact list in Business Contact Manager, Business Contact Manager continues to run. However, you receive the following error message:
Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Some Opportunities or activities are not updated when you merge an imported contact list

If you try to import a contact list as a merged list in Business Contact Manager when the Update duplicates option is enabled, some Opportunities or activities are not updated. Additionally, some errors are logged in the Business Contact Manager log file.

You receive a "The Report could not be generated" error message when you modify a History Report

When you click Modify report and then select a business contact in a History Report in Business Contact Manager, you receive the following error message:
The Report could not be generated. Please try again.
When you click OK to the error message, you receive the following error message:
Logon Failed.
