SYMPTOMS

You cannot use a Microsoft Office 2003 policy setting to select the Warn before printing, saving or sending a file that contains tracked changes or comments check box on the Security tab in the Microsoft Office Word 2003 Options dialog box.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because there is a syntax error in both of the following files:
  • The Office 2003 Resource Kit policy template file (the Word11.adm file)
  • The user settings file (the Word11.opa file)
