After you download and install Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) build 1.0.614, you may find that the build version is still 1.0.613 (903079)

SYMPTOMSYou download Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) build
1.0.614 from the Microsoft Download Center, and then you install this build version. Then, when you examine the new build version, you may find that
the build version is still 1.0.613.CAUSEThis problem occurs because of a known issue in the
installer for Windows AntiSpyware (Beta).RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, follow these steps: - Remove Windows AntiSpyware
(Beta) build 1.0.613:
- Click Start, click Run,
type appwiz.cpl, and
then click OK.
- In the
Currently installed programs list, click Microsoft AntiSpyware, and then click
Remove.
- Click Yes to remove Microsoft AntiSpyware
and all related components from the computer.
Note You will not have access to previously-quarantined files after
you follow these steps.
- Reinstall the latest build of Windows AntiSpyware (Beta)
by visiting the following Microsoft Web site:
