SYMPTOMS

You may receive the following message from Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) if you also use the Immunize feature in Spybot Search & Destroy:
An Internet Explorer Trusted Site Requires Approval Trusted Site: <Site name>

CAUSE

The Immunize feature in Spybot Search & Destroy adds certain Web sites to the restricted sites zone in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

This problem is caused by a known issue in Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) that involves real-time monitoring of the sites in the trusted sites zone and in the restricted sites zone. The real-time monitoring does not distinguish between additions to the restricted sites zone and additions to the trusted sites zone.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, click Allow in the Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) message. The Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) message appears in the notification area at the far right of the taskbar. Clicking Allow lets you maintain the Spybot Search & Destroy functionality.
