You cannot delete an individual entry from the History list in Works Suite 2005 (902329)

SYMPTOMS

You cannot delete an individual entry from the History list in Microsoft Works Suite 2005.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, follow these steps.

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Works, and then click Microsoft Works Task Launcher.
  2. Click the History tab.
  3. In the History list, locate the file that you want to delete.
  4. In the left pane, click Find files and folders.
  5. In the All or part of the file name box, type the name of the file that you want to delete, and then click Search.
  6. In the right pane, right-click the file, and then click Rename.
  7. Type the new name for the file, and then press ENTER. For example, if the original name of the file is test.xlr, rename the file to test1.xlr.
  8. Close the Search Results window.
  9. In the History list, click the file that you just renamed.
  10. When you are prompted to confirm whether you want to remove the entry from the History list, click Yes.
  11. In the left pane, click Find files and folders.
  12. In the All or part of the file name box, type the renamed file name, and then click Search.
  13. In the right pane, right-click the file, and then click Rename.
  14. Type the original name of the file, and then press ENTER. For example, if the renamed file name is test1.xlr and the original name of the file was test.xlr, rename the file to test.xlr.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
