FIX: You may receive a "cannot be converted to a 'uint'" error message when you use the Aximp.exe utility in Visual Studio .NET 2003 (901372)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to add a reference to an ActiveX control in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 or when you use the Aximp.exe utility to generate managed classes for an ActiveX control, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:

AxImp Error: Compiler errors occurred when generating a Windows Forms wrapper for ActiveX control 'AxMyActiveXControls'. Source code saved in 'Path1\AxMyActiveXControls.cs'. Path2\6ajsyydy.0.cs(35,29) : error CS0221: Constant value '-2147483633' cannot be converted to a 'uint' (use 'unchecked' syntax to override)

Note In this error message, Path1 is a placeholder for the path of the folder where the source code file of the Windows Forms wrapper is generated. Path2 is a placeholder for the path of the folder where temporarily files are stored.

RESOLUTION
