After you convert a lead to an opportunity, Microsoft CRM 1.2 uses "System Calculated" for the Revenue option even though "User Provided" is set as the default value (901016)

SYMPTOMSAfter you convert a lead to an opportunity in Microsoft CRM 1.2, the program uses System Calculated as the default value for the Revenue option even though User Provided is set as the default value on the System Customization page.CAUSEThis behavior occurs when the following conditions are true: - You installed the hotfix that is described in the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
891198 The "Revenue" option does not use "User Provided" as the default value when you convert a lead to an opportunity in Microsoft CRM 1.2
- When you converted the lead to an opportunity, you selected any one of the following check box combinations:
- The Opportunity check box and the Contact check box
- The Opportunity check box and the Account check box
- The Opportunity check box, the Contact check box, and the Account check box
RESOLUTIONMicrosoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article: 904435 Update Rollup 2 is available for Microsoft CRM 1.2
