Your notes are not copied when you synchronize a Pocket PC device or a Windows Mobile device to OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1 (900500)

SYMPTOMS

When you synchronize a Pocket PC device or a Microsoft Windows Mobile device to Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1), your notes are not copied from the device to OneNote 2003 SP1.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when you save your notes to a location that is outside the My Documents folder on the Pocket PC device or on the Windows Mobile device.

For example, this issue occurs when you save your notes on a memory card that is installed in the Pocket PC device or in the Windows Mobile device.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, save or copy your notes to the My Documents folder on the Pocket PC device or on the Windows Mobile device before you synchronize the device to OneNote 2003 SP1.
