SYMPTOMS

When you run the remote shell tool (Rsh.exe) on a Windows 2000-based computer, you may receive the following error message:
Terminal read: The handle is invalid.

CAUSE

This error occurs because of a timing issue that may occur when the remote shell tool quits.
