SYMPTOMSAfter you change the TV Signal type setting
in Microsoft Windows XP
Media Center Edition 2004, you discover that there are no program guide listings for the available channels. When you try to use the program guide, you receive a dialog
box that states the following: No Guide listings are
available for your region. Select Setup to check for Guide listings
availability.CAUSEThis problem occurs if you did not select the option to
download a new guide after you changed the TV Signal type
setting.RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, use the remote to manually
reset the program guide setup
options. To
do this, follow these steps:
- Press the Start button on the remote to
open the Windows XP Media Center start screen.
- Click General.
- Click Guide
setup, and then click Change
lineup.
- Follow the directions that appear on the screen to select a
new channel lineup.
