You receive a "Data out of Range" error message when you forward or reply to an e-mail message that originated in Microsoft CRM (898551)

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You send an e-mail message from Microsoft CRM. There are 75 or more characters in the Subject box of the e-mail message. The recipient to whom you sent the e-mail message replies to the e-mail message. In Microsoft CRM or in Microsoft Business Solutions Sales for Outlook (the Outlook client), you forward or reply to the e-mail message. When you forward or reply to the e-mail message, you receive the following error message:
Data out of range.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
