from Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004, the TV recording quality is set to Best, regardless of the recording quality that you want.CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the Setup program resets the recording quality to Best when you upgrade.RESOLUTIONTo change the TV recording quality to the recording quality that
you want, follow these steps:
- Open Media Center.
- Select
Settings.
- On the Settings screen, select
TV.
- On the TV Settings screen, select Recorder,
and then select Recording Defaults.
- On the Recording Defaults screen, select
the - button next to Quality to set the
recording quality.
