Client side caching does not synchronize the offline files and folders in Windows XP if you restart the computer (897082)

SYMPTOMS

If you restart the computer, client side caching does not synchronize the offline files and folders.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Synchronization Manager assumes that the computer will be starting up again immediately. Therefore, the Synchronization Manager does not synchronize the offline files and folders when the computer restarts.
