The five-step printer test lists your printer in the Microsoft Windows registry. Additionally, the printer is configured for future duplex print jobs.
If you do not complete the five-step printer test procedure correctly, you may not be able to print duplex print jobs on your printer. Additionally, if you do not complete the five-step printer test procedure correctly, you must reactivate the five-step printer test, and then complete the five-step printer test correctly.
Note A duplex print job
is a print job where you print on both sides of a sheet of paper.
