SYMPTOMS
When you download your Program Guide in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, the Program Guide that is downloaded does not offer the correct program listings for the TV signal provider that you selected.CAUSE
This problem may occur if you use the mouse pointer to select your TV signal provider. When you use the mouse pointer to select a provider in the TV Signal Provider window and then click Next, the provider that you try to select is not selected (highlighted). Instead, a different provider is selected. Therefore, the program guide for the wrong TV signal provider is downloaded.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use either a keyboard or the remote to configure the TV Signal Provider setting.
For example, use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select the provider that you want in the Select TV Signal Provider window. Then, press ENTER two times to continue to the next screen.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
