You receive a "Page cannot be displayed" error message when you try to run a storage report in Windows Storage Server 2003 (894890)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to run a storage report in Microsoft Windows Storage
Server 2003, you may receive the following error
message: Page cannot be
displayed. Or, a blank page may appear. When a blank page appears, you receive no error message.
CAUSEThis problem occurs when the following conditions are true: - The report is generated against more than
10,000 files and folders.
- The report is generated by selecting the HTML option and the Active HTML option
The problem occurs because the version of Veritas Storage
Manager that is included with Windows Storage Server 2003 is limited to 10,000 entries per HTML
storage report. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, limit
the size of the report to less than 10,000 entries, or specify text
output for the report.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, access storage reports from the console or from a Terminal Services session by browsing to the C:\Windows\System32\ServerAppliance\WQuinn\StorageCentral SRM\5.0\Reports folder.
Note The Windows system folder may be located on a drive with a different drive letter than the standard "C:\" drive.MORE INFORMATIONStorage Manager is licensed from Veritas for inclusion in
Windows Storage Server 2003. Storage Manager is a limited, low-cost version of
the Storage Central product that is available from Veritas. Customers who want the
full functionality of Storage Central must license it from Veritas.
Veritas Storage Central is not limited to 10,000 entries per HTML storage report.
