You receive the "System halted" error message or the computer shuts down when you try to archive pictures in Digital Image Suite 10 (894724)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you try to archive your pictures in Microsoft Digital Image Suite 10 on a Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me)-based computer, you may receive the following error message on a blue screen:
Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer.
System halted.
When you try to archive your pictures in Digital Image Suite 10 on a Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition-based computer, your computer automatically shuts down.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, make sure that you have blank media in the drive where you want to archive the pictures.
