SYMPTOMSWhen you try to join a meeting in Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005 by using a Macintosh computer, the Java-based meeting console does not start.CAUSEThis issue may occur because Microsoft Internet Explorer in Mac OS X uses Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (JVM) version 1.3.1. In this situation, Internet Explorer may not communicate correctly with some proxy servers when Internet Explorer is using a Java applet.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, use the Safari browser that is included in Mac OS X.
Note The version of the Safari browser that is included in Mac OS X is version 1.4. You will not experience the issue that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section when you use the Safari browser.
