The Live Meeting console does not start when you try to log on to a meeting in Live Meeting (894646)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to log on to a meeting in Microsoft Office Live Meeting, the Live Meeting console does not start. Instead, a Web page appears that contains an Enter Meeting button or a Re-enter Meeting button. Or, the Web page may just have a gray background.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you have one or more of the following kinds of programs installed:
  • A pop-up blocker program
  • An advertisement-blocking program
  • A personal firewall program
These kinds of programs may prevent the Live Meeting console from successfully loading.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, temporarily disable the program that prevents the Live Meeting console from loading. Or, configure an exception in the program so that the Live Meeting console can successfully load.
