In Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005, you can let your users register themselves as meeting organizers in Live Meeting 2005. This article describes how to enable a feature so that your users can register themselves as meeting organizers in Live Meeting 2005.

To let your users register themselves for Live Meeting 2005, follow these steps.

Note You must be an administrator in Live Meeting to follow these steps.
  1. Download the Organizer Self-Service Authorization form. To do this, visit the following Web site:
  2. Fill out the form. When you fill out the form, choose one of the following options:
    • Administrator must approve organizer creation

      When you select this option, any user who has a valid e-mail address can apply to become a Live Meeting organizer. An e-mail message is sent to you that requests approval for each user who applies to become a Live Meeting organizer. When you click the URL in the e-mail message that you receive, an organizer account is provisioned. The user who applied to become a Live Meeting organizer receives an e-mail message when this new account is created.
    • Organizer is created and Administrator is Notified

      When you select this option, any user who has a valid e-mail address can become a Live Meeting organizer. When a user becomes a Live Meeting organizer, you receive an e-mail message.
    • Organizer is created - No Notification

      When you select this option, any user who has a valid e-mail address can become a Live Meeting organizer. You do not receive an e-mail message when the user becomes a Live Meeting organizer.
  3. Send the completed Organizer Self-Service Authorization form to your Live Meeting sales representative.

    Note If you do not know who your Live Meeting sales representative is, you can send the form to the Live Meeting 2005 technical support team. You might experience a delay of up to two business days when you submit your completed Organizer Self Service Authorization form to the Live Meeting 2005 technical support team. After you submit the Organizer Self-Service Authorization form, you receive an e-mail notification message when your account has been enabled. You can then direct users to the Create User Form form so that these users can become Live Meeting organizers.
