This article describes how to create a scheduled meeting in Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2005.

To create a scheduled meeting in Live Meeting 2005, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to your Live Meeting 2005 conference center.
  2. In the left pane, click Schedule Meeting under Meet.
  3. In the Subject box, type a subject for your meeting.

    Note The meeting subject text appears as the title on all meeting invitations and reports. Additionally, the meeting subject text appears as the title of the Meeting Console window during your meeting.
  4. In the Start box, type or select a start time for your meeting.
  5. In the End box, type or select an end time for your meeting.
  6. In the Time Zone list, click the time zone that your meeting times apply to.
  7. In the Occurrence list, click one of the following options depending on how you want to schedule your meeting:
    • One time meeting
    • Recurring meeting
    • Ongoing meeting
  8. To modify other optional meeting settings, click Meeting Options. These meeting options have default values assigned to them. However, you can modify these values depending on your requirements. When you have finished changing the optional meeting settings, click OK.
  9. When you have finished configuring your meeting options, click one of the following options:
    • Click Send Invitations to save your meeting and to send meeting invitations to the presenters and attendees.
    • Click Save to save your meeting without sending invitations to the presenters and attendees.
