SYMPTOMS

You experience a delay when you transfer data over a USB port on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2). For example, you experience a delay of five seconds before the data transfer is completed. When this problem occurs, CPU usage increases to 100 percent.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when a worker thread causes a delay during the data transfer.

RESOLUTION
