You receive an error message when you try to connect from a Windows XP Service Pack 2-based computer to a remote Windows 2000-based computer by using the Network Monitor utility (894616)

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You try to connect from a Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2-based computer to a remote Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer. You try to make the connection by using the Network Monitor utility. In this scenario, you receive an error message that is similar to the following error message:
Network Monitor is currently running with higher security settings than the REMOTE Network Monitor Driver. To fix this problem, update the REMOTE network Monitor Driver. (0x800407d0).
